Today, the Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA) conveyed on me, the full membership of its organisation and certified me worthy in academic qualification and character to practice in Nigeria as a Chartered Administrator.
The import of this investiture is a commitment to uphold the ethics of the profession and to maintain the highest standard of integrity in the discharge of my responsibility as a Chartered Administration both in public and private domain as it concerns Public Administration, Corporate Governance, and Leadership.
It is not enough to be a technical IT professional without having administrative and managerial capabilities. This journey is founded upon my aspiration for Public Services.
The Chartered Institute of Administration is the ONLY professional body in Nigeria chartered by Act No. 103 of 1992 CAP C7 of Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (LFRN) to train, certify and license professionals as Chartered Administration. It is the gold standard as far as Administration Practice in Nigeria is concerned. Certificates from its Training Arm, the National College of Administration is approved by the Federal Ministry of Education for further academic progression in Nigeria and anywhere in the world. The Federal Civil Service accepts its certificate for employment and promotion in the Civil Service in Nigeria. The National University Commission (NUC) recognises its certificate for progression into masters and doctoral programme in any university in Nigeria and abroad.
