Make Youtube your most important learning platform if you are into e-learning, and of course, for whatever professional development course you are into.

For instance, if you are doing Data Analytics

Keywords to search on Youtube:

1. Excel tutorial
2. Data analysis using Excel
3. Power BI tutorial
4. Excel Dashboard
5. Power Query on Excel
6. Tableau tutorial
6. Data Analysis
7. Data Science
8. Python
9. R
10. Apache Spark

There are thousands of untapped learning materials out there. The quickest way to learn is by seeing the practical steps of a process. Reading theories only give you a mental picture of the process, but it doesn’t quickly empower you with insight into the process. Read literature to have foundational knowledge but spend more time understanding practical context.

As at the time I enrolled for an MBA with Nexford University, I only had done an MBA Foundation Course with Quantic School of Business and Technology, Washington DC. United States of America.

The following were the courses I did with Quantic:
1. Accounting Fundamentals
2. Customer Discovery
3. Time Value of Money
4. Marketing Fundamentals
5. Macro-economic – Supply and Demand
6. Variable Statistics

Because I had basically no elementary foundation in Business, Accounting or Management, I needed to devise means where I can learn the concepts in those courses faster. This was when I found YouTube to be a veritable e-learning platform.

After my application to NXU, I was told since I didn’t have an undergraduate degree in Business, I still need to undergo their MBA Foundation Course, I did.

After completing the NXU Foundation, I was automatically admitted into their MBA degree programme. But here is the catch, in all of the 12 courses I did for the MBA, I passed all the Business, Accounting and Management courses with straight A1s.

What did I do, I used YouTube learning resources to quickly understand accounting, and I applied my knowledge in the use of Excel to deliver an eye-catching accounting statement assignment.
