If you do business that requires you to advertise your contact number, separate your business life from your personal life.

Have a second line for your business. Let the second line not be your number attached to your Bank Accounts.

As a matter of fact, your NIN, BVN and Bank Account-connected line should be very confidential. Ensure the second line is active and attached to your social media accounts.

Given the government’s new policy demanding that you synchronize your NIN and BVN to your Bank accounts, There are security implications if your bank-connected line is compromised.

Your WhatsApp line for private conversations should be different from your WhatsApp line for business communication.

For clarity, while you must link all your mobile phone numbers to your NIN, that specific Mobile Phone you attached to your Bank account must NOT be the one you use as your business contact number, wherein you advertise online. Take note.

Be guided accordingly.
