In the event that you lose your phone, a hacker or criminal can clone your phone number and whatever crime that SIM Number is used to perpetrate, there is a high possibility that security agencies will track the phone number back to you.

Enable SIM lock on your SIM Card, this makes it impossible for your SIM Card to be used without your consent.

If someone tries to use your SIM by inserting it on any device, it will ask for the PIN you set up.

How to set it up:

1. Search for SIM Lock on your device setting menu.
2. Click change SIM Lock
3. Enter the default PIN, this is usually 0000 in most networks, but check your SIM Card information or ask your Service Provider.
4. Enter your preferred and memorisable PIN Code.

Now, your SIM Card is locked with a PIN known only by you.
