News report has it that Venus Aerospace aims to make global travel possible in just one hour with its hypersonic Stargazer jet. The company plans to combine jet and rocket engines for this revolutionary transportation concept.
The Stargazer will use traditional jet engines for takeoff and then switch to rocket engines once it reaches a higher altitude, allowing it to reach speeds of Mach 9, that’s nine times the speed of sound (8,000km/h), and at an altitude of 170,000 feet.

The aircraft measuring 50 feet in length and 100 feet wide is being designed to fly from San Francisco to Tokyo in a record one hour, 11 times faster than today’s flight time.
However, developing a liquid-propellant rotating detonation rocket engine is crucial to achieving this goal, as current rocket engines cannot sustain the required speed.
